| 2012-09-05 09:21 <scrapper> hello friends, when setting Administration->UserInterface->Actions->Reports->Invoice Extension to PDF (Portable Document Format) and save. What can I expect from this? Nothing happens. Report of invoice still opens in *.odt format. This PDF Extension seems to get ignored. Any hints? Tryton Version 2.2.0 | ||

| 2012-09-05 10:18 <scrapper> ok now more on "is tryton restart for such config changes" changing config in Report. Example: Administration->UserInterface->Actions->Reports->Invoice Extension to PDF. Answer: No - there is no restart required. Tryton seems to create the report as soon as the invoice is set from Draft to Post. | ||
| 2012-09-05 10:20 <scrapper> but if you want to set your extension to PDF - you will need to have "unoconv" installed. (on ubuntu: sudo apt-get install unoconv) which will install open-office and friends... which is a 362MB installation.. which maybe you don't want to have on your X-Server-Free environment. So I stay with *.odt right now and create PDF files manually if needed. | ||
